A U.S. defense contractor unveiled an anti-missile system this week that it claims worked properly on commercial cargo planes. Such high-tech devices, in the future, could save a plane full of passengers from shoulder-launched heat seeking missiles, if airlines deploy such systems. Northrop Grumman showed off its Guardian System Wednesday outside (the northeastern U.S. city of) Baltimore, Maryland. (Linthicum, Maryland) VOA's Robert Raffaele has the story.
