Monday, September 3, is celebrated as Labor Day in the United States.

It's a day set aside to honor the contributions of America's working men and women to both the country and the world.

The workforce of today faces challenges unknown even a decade ago. American labor unions, government and private enterprise are fashioning responses to these challenges as we hear in this Dateline report from Neal Lavon.
