Amy Bickers is the Tokyo-based correspondent for the Voice of America.
Previously, she was a Hong Kong-based reporter for VOA, and traveled widely in the region, covering elections, economic summits and the Asian financial crisis of 1997.
Before joining VOA, Amy was a reporter and anchor for CNBC Asia.
She started her journalism career at CNN where she was a producer in Atlanta and London.
Amy has a Bachelors degree from Barnard College and a Masters degree from The London School of Economics.
