The Red Cross says there has been a cholera outbreak in some parts of the country. The group says it is sending officials and medical supplies to the affected areas.
The information officer for the Zimbabwe Red Cross, Varaidzo Dogonzi, says it’s uncertain how many people are affected.
She told Studio Seven’s Chinedu Offor that the Red Cross is taking steps to assist victims and curtail the spread of the deadly disease.
