At least 30 displaced Burmese were killed and around 200 were injured Friday when a fire swept through a refugee camp in northern Thailand.
Officials say the blaze broke out at about 4:00 p.m. , destroying around 100 makeshift houses, the camp's clinic and food distribution center.
The United Nations refugee agency said Saturday it has sent transport and other immediate support for injured refugees.
Officials said relief efforts are being coordinated by the Royal Thai Government provincial and camp authorities.
The remote camp was set up in 1992 for refugees who fled ethnic conflict in Burma. It is home to about 3,500 refugees.
