South African Policewoman Provides Positive Role Model

South African police have recently drawn criticism for widely-publicized incidents of police brutality, corruption and their perceived failure to control the nation’s spiralling crime rate. But in one crime-ridden part of Johannesburg, Sergeant Olga Masethla’s close ties with the community and emphasis on crime prevention are showing residents a different side of the police force.
