As of November 5, 2010, the death toll topped 100, nearly 90,000 were left homeless and relief workers were forced to move evacuation camps further from away from Mount Merapi. Indonesian President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono has declared a national disaster after eruptions on November 4.
