France is set to demand that Britain pay more to deal with the ongoing migrant crisis around the northern port of Calais – the main gateway from the European mainland to the UK. Hundreds of migrants are living in dire conditions in makeshift camps around the French city. Following a visit to Calais Tuesday, French President Emmanuel Macron is likely to raise the issue when he visits London later this week, as Henry Ridgwell reports.
