Until recently, Venezuela's Juan Guaido was just another lawmaker in the country's national assembly that had been stripped of its powers after the opposition won control of the body in 2015. Now, Guaido - who became the assembly's head in January - has declared himself as Venezuela's interim president and is leading a movement to force the sitting president, Nicolas Maduro, to step down.
