More than 53,000 families entered the U.S. without authorization through the southern border in March, according to the Customs and Border Protection, which VOA accompanied on a tour this week. The number of undocumented migrants crossing the border increased 370% from this date a year ago, according to the official numbers released by CBP. Of the undocumented migrants, 7,565 are children, an increase of 333%.
