Astronomers using the Hubble Space Telescope theorize that an exoplanet Gliese (glee-sa) 1132b may be on its second atmosphere after its original was blown away by the intense radiation of its host star. The scientists found evidence that this replacement atmosphere may have been created and is being replenished by gases seeping from volcanic fissures on the planet’s surface.
