Clashes erupted over the weekend between police and migrants in the northern French port town of Calais, where the government plans to raze a giant migrant camp by year’s end, and build a wall to keep migrants from stowing away on ferries or trucks to Britain. But as Lisa Bryant reports from Calais, critics doubt the measures will curb a problem that mirrors Europe’s larger migrant crisis.
