Researchers Turn Focus on Women Extremists

Researchers are studying why and how women are being drawn to violent extremist groups. Although men still dominate these groups, researchers say recent examples from Boko Haram and Islamic State terror groups are shedding light on the motivations of women who choose to join, and how to dissuade them from doing so.
