Barcelona of Spain and the English football club Arsenal face each other later Wednesday near Paris in the final of the European Champions League tournament.

Arsenal is hoping to become the sixth different British team to win the tournament. The title also would give England a record 11th overall championship title. Glasgow Celtic of Scotland was the first British club to win the European Cup in 1967. Liverpool has since won five titles, Manchester United and Nottingham Forest two each and Aston Villa one.

Barcelona and Real Madrid are the only Spanish clubs to win European Cups. But Madrid has a record of nine titles, while Barcelona won its only title in 1992.

The championship game is at the Stade de France in St. Denis, just north of Paris.
