Vitali Klitschko of Ukraine and American Hasim Rahman are scheduled to fight for the World Boxing Council heavyweight crown in November in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Bob Arum outbid rival boxing promoter Don King for the bout on November 12.

Klitschko has 35 career wins with two losses and 34 knockouts. He was to have fought Rahman earlier this year. But the 34-year-old Ukrainian had back surgery in April and has not been in the ring since last December.

Rahman has a 40-5 record with one draw and 33 knockouts. The 32-year-old Rahman won a decision against fellow American Monte Barrett last week to become the WBC interim champion. Rahman will claim the outright title by default if Klitschko does not fight.
