World Cup cricket Super Six action is taking place Friday, in South Africa. India is playing Kenya in Cape Town, while Sri Lanka is battling Australia in Centurion.

Kenya opener Kennedy Otieno survived three chances to score 79 in his team's match against India. Otieno and Ravindu Shah put on 75 for the first wicket before left-arm pace bowler Zaheer Khan ran out Shah for 34 with a direct hit on the stumps. Captain Steve Tikolo made only three but Thomas Odoyo played a useful supporting role before Harbhajan Singh bowled Otieno. After 40 overs, Kenya - a surprise qualifier for the second round - was finding it difficult to accelerate the run rate and had reached only 157-3.

In Centurion, Sri Lanka was chasing a victory target of 320 and was 169-7 after 41 overs. Sri Lankan batter Sanath Jayasuriya, who faced just five balls, was led off the field after being hit hard in the forearm by a pitch from Australian strike bowler Brett Lee. Tests did not reveal a fracture.
