Tailenders Geraint Jones and Ashley Giles have led England's cricket team to a draw in the second test against Pakistan in Faisalabad.

The English were chasing a victory target of 285 runs in 64 overs. The tourists were 138-6 when Jones added 30 not out and Giles scored 13 not out to take the English to 164-six before bad light ended play.

Earlier, Pakistan reached 268-9 thanks to 100 runs from Inzamam ul-Haq. It was Inzamam's 24th test century and broke Javed Miandad's Pakistani record of 23 test 100s.

Pakistan won the first test by 22 runs. The final test of the three-match series starts Tuesday before the teams play five one-day international matches. England returns home December 22.
