Cold weather and icy conditions have caused a number of football matches in England to be called off because frozen fields.

The biggest match on the schedule was Premier League leaders Arsenal taking on Leicester at Leicester's home field. Officials inspected the field and ruled it was too icy to start the game.

England's lower divisions were also hit by the cold weather, with half the division one games called off and 10 of 12 matches in division two canceled. Division three was also hit hard with only one game possible.
