Ivory Coast has scored a 2 to 1 victory over Libya in their Group-A match at the African Nations Cup football tournament in Egypt.

Ivory Coast opened the scoring in the 10th minute of Tuesday's match at Cairo International Stadium. Arouna Kone concluded a long run with a shot that was fumbled by Libyan goalkeeper Muftah Ghzalla. Kone passed the rebound to Didier Drogba, who tapped it into the net.

Libya equalized in the 41st minute when Abdesalam Khamis headed a crossing pass into the net from 10 meters out. But Ivory Coast tallied the winner in the 74th minute when Ghzalla misplayed a cross and Yaya Toure headed it over him and into the net.

Ivory Coast has now won both of its matches in Group-A, with Egypt and Morocco set to meet in the late match.
