Chinese-born Yao Ming has poured in 32 points and collected 10 rebounds to help his Houston Rockets snap a three-game National Basketball Association losing streak. Houston beat the host Los Angeles Clippers, 108-103, Sunday.

It was a bad day for both Los Angeles teams, as the Lakers fell in overtime to the Washington Wizards, 147-141. Guard Gilbert Arenas paced the Wizards with 60 points, while Lakers guard Kobe Bryant had 45 points and 10 rebounds in a losing effort. Washington has won eight of its last 10 games.

In Indianapolis, Carlos Boozer had 18 points and 11 rebounds to help the Utah Jazz open a five-game trip with a victory, beating the Indiana Pacers, 104-94. The Pacers had beaten Utah seven straight times over the past four years.

The Toronto Raptors topped the visiting Golden State Warriors, 120-115, as Morris Peterson scored 23 points.

Elsewhere in the NBA, the Detroit Pistons beat the Seattle Supersonics, 97-93.
