In National Hockey League action Thursday, the Philadelphia Flyers continued their home-rink dominence over the Washington Capitals with a 8-1 victory in Philadelphia. The Flyers' Jeff Carter, Simon Gagne and Jon Sim all had two goals each. The victory is Philadephia's fifth straight at home. The Capitals, meanwhile, have lost six of their last eight games - and have not won in Philadelphia since 1998.
