Peruvian authorities say they have arrested seven Iraqis with false passports they planned to use to enter the United States.

Police Colonel Roberto Lujan says the group was arrested in Peru's capital, Lima, late Monday night. The suspects had fake passports from The Netherlands and Ecuador.

Lujan says authorities have sent the information gathered in the raid to authorities in Interpol, the international police organization.
