National Basketball Association center Shaquille O'Neal of the Miami Heat has agreed to a five-year deal to promote a new line of products for Chinese sportswear maker Li-Ning.

Terms of the contract were not released, but the Chinese media says it is worth at least $1.25 million.

The clothing line, created by Chinese gymnastics legend Li-Ning, is attempting to expand to the international market.  At a press conference attended by O'Neal in Beijing Monday, Li Ning said the Miami Heat star was chosen because he "is one of the greatest NBA players of all time."

Li-Ning will create a new line of Shaq Dunkman basketball products, including shoes.  The products will initially be sold in China, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Macau.
