American Tiger Woods holds a four-shot lead heading into Saturday's third round of the Buick Invitational golf tournament at the Torrey Pines course in San Diego, California.

Woods shot a 7-under-par 65 in playing on Torrey Pines's North Course. He overcame several shaky drives off the tee, making par on his first three holes before racking up seven birdies for the day. The world's No.1 golfer is seeking his fourth consecutive Buick win, and the sixth of his career.

American rookie Kevin Streelman is in second place after shooting a 69 on the more difficult South Course. Streelman was a third alternate who was tapped to play at the last minute before Thursday's opening round.

American Stewart Cink enters today's round in third place, while Australian Aaron Baddeley is tied for fourth with Americans Boo Weekley and Brad Adamonis.
