Bill Wyatt is currently the Chief Economics Editor in the VOA Newsroom, responsible for VOA's written output on all types of international transactions - from Asia's financial crisis to the interest rate announcements from the U.S. Federal Reserve.

Bill began work at the Voice in the Fall of 1984 as a News Broadcaster. In 1990, Bill moved to the Assignments Desk, and later, the Central News Desk, as a Supervisory Editor.

In 1996, Bill received a Master's Degree in Economics from George Mason University, just outside Washington D. C., and was named to lead the Economics Unit.
