Ongoing internal problems of the Zimbabwean opposition faction headed by Morgan Tsvangirai go beyond the standoff between senior party leaders and the women's unit of the formation - another dispute has broken out between the faction and its United Kingdom executive, the dissolution of which it announced on Saturday.

Chairman Lovemore Moyo of the Movement for Democratic Change faction headed by Tsvangirai said he dissolved the executive of the formation's UK branch because of feuding between officers of the UK party and public bickering on the Internet.

Moyo told reporter Patience Rusere of VOA's Studio 7 for Zimbabwe the party won?t go back on that decision and will hold a congress to elect a new UK executive.

But embattled UK province chairman Ephraim Tapa said Moyo's dissolution of the executive was unconstitutional, so the panel will continue to lead the UK branch.
