Zimbabwe's Highlanders football club, currently topping the Premier Soccer League table, has acquired players Sautso Phiri and Admire Dzukamanja to boost its strike force before the closing of the league's second transfer window Tuesday.

Highlanders lost some inspirational players to South Africa earlier in the season and has been under pressure to replace them as the premiership race heats up.

Highlanders chairman Ernest "Mapepa" Sibanda told VOA's reporter Marvellous Mhlanga-Nyahuye that he hopes the recruits will help clinch this year?s title despite the strong competition that has been offered by teams like Dynamos.
