Democrat Hillary Clinton and Republican Donald Trump both made a whirlwind journey for votes to several states Monday on the eve of perhaps the most divisive and polarizing election in modern U.S. history. Polls show Clinton with a modest but steady lead both nationally and in several key battleground states that will largely determine the outcome of Tuesday's voting.
