Children are used to using vending machines to buy snacks and drinks. But in the U.S. capital, some children are now able to go to a vending machine to get books. And they don't need to feed any coins into the machine because the books are dispensed for free. As Faiza Elmasry reports, the Book Vending Machine program, the first of its kind in the U.S., is the newest addition to "Soar with Reading," a literacy initiative started five years ago by JetBlue Airlines.
