Chinese state media has accused the U.S. National Endowment for Democracy of funding and advising the protesters occupying major Hong Kong streets. The N-E-D receives U.S. federal government funding as well as private donations. Louisa Greve ((PRONO: Gree-va)) is N-E-D's vice president of programs for Asia, the Middle East & North Africa.
