The leaders of the six-nation East African Community (EAC) are considering banning the importation of used vehicles, clothes and shoes to promote local industry. Kenya imports more than 100,000 tons of secondhand clothes for sale on the street. Can the country produce enough affordable clothes to meet demand? Will an import ban help the economy? VOA's Lenny Ruvaga reports.
