North Korea says a detained American was freed this week. Jeffrey Fowle was arrested six months ago after leaving a Bible in a North Korean restaurant and bar. Fowle was one of three Americans held by North Korea. Kenneth Bae and Matthew Miller, each were sentenced to prison terms. Korea analyst Bruce Bennett told V-O-A's Victor Beattie, by releasing one of the three Americans, Pyongyang may wish to maintain leverage with Washington.
