About a year ago astronomers discovered Oumuamua, the first known interstellar object to visit our solar system. Since then, they've been trying to determine what it was. A new study proposes to keep an open mind to its origin. The study authors say Oumuamua fits the profile of a LightSail of artificial origin. Was Oumuamua an alien space probe? LightSail's, which are propelled by radiation pressure from the Sun, have been proposed to send tiny satellite's (CubeSat's) into deep space.
