Police shootings in the U.S., often in African American communities, have dominated the news over the past two years - as have targeted shootings of police officers in well-publicized incidents in recent months. VOA's Elizabeth Lee went to South L.A.'s impoverished minority neighborhoods to report on how police are dealing with this new, grim reality.
