This month, the parliament of the breakaway republic of Somaliland approved a draft of a $442-million deal to upgrade the port of Berbera. The plan promises to transform the ancient trading post and boost the region's economy but some worry local fishermen will be left behind. Jason Patinkin has the story for VOA from Berbera.
