President Donald Trump's nominee to be the next U.S. ambassador to China, Iowa Governor Terry Branstad, appeared in front of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee Tuesday. He faced questions about rising tensions with North Korea, trade, security and human rights issues. VOA's Cindy Saine reports a number of senators believe he has unique qualifications for the job.
