There is an urgent and dangerous debate occurring in the United States centered around the idea that black lives have less value than white lives. As we find out from VOA's Carol Pearson, public health experts say that based on the limited statistics available that just may be the case. In order for the killings to stop, gun violence has to be treated and studied like any other public health issue.
