The daughter of former U.S. President Bill Clinton and current Secretary of State Hillary Clinton is getting married Saturday in a lavish and rather secretive affair.

Thirty-year-old Chelsea Clinton and investment banker Marc Mezvinsky, who is 32, have kept their wedding details quiet.

News cameras are barred from covering the event, taking place at a 20-hectare riverside estate in the small town of Rhinebeck, north of New York City.

Security has been tightened in the area, and the airspace above will be closed to airplanes for 12 hours starting Saturday afternoon.

There is speculation that the affair will cost at least $2 million.

Talk show host Oprah Winfrey, film director Steven Spielberg and singer Barbra Streisand are rumored to be among the 500 invited guests.

Former president Clinton was mobbed by crowds as he took a stroll through Rhinebeck Friday.  Mr. Clinton had kind words for his future son-in-law, saying "I admire him. Hillary feels the same way."
