Several African countries are dealing with cholera outbreaks, including Zambia and the Democratic Republic of Congo. In Malawi, cholera has killed at least four people since November and sickened some 200 more. The U.N. Children’s Fund is trying out a new high-tech approach to better target response efforts, making use of a humanitarian drone corridor established in Malawi last year. Ancient artifacts belonging to Egyptian King Tutankhamun are being restored. The items, including clothing, toys and furniture, will be displayed at the Grand Egyptian Museum in Giza, Egypt, now under construction. It is slated to open later this year, four years ahead of schedule. VOA Correspondent Mariama Diallo reports.
