Mina is a young woman who has three daughters and is 9 months pregnant. She loves her life, but her husband would like their fourth child to be a boy — in their culture it is believed that a man must have at least one son. Her in-laws and her husband tell her that if the fourth baby is a girl, she must allow her husband to marry another woman. We follow Mina's intimate family life through her tension-filled pregnancy, as she struggles to face unfulfillable social pressures.
