LIVE BLOG: Hillary Clinton Accepts Democratic Nomination

update

Hillary Clinton accepted the Democratic Party's nomination for president Thursday night with a message stressing the need to unite in order to confront the nation's challenges. "It truly is up to us," she said.

As the balloon drop goes on, Katy Perry's songs "Firework" and "Roar" play. And a song by Jessica Sanchez, "Stronger Together."

By comparison, one of the first songs played at the end of Donald Trump's acceptance speech at the Republican National Convention was the Rolling Stone's "You Can't Always Get What You Want."
