USC-Oregon State, Oklahoma-Texas A&M Highlight US College Football Action

update

The top-ranked USC Trojans look to continue their winning streak while number-two Oklahoma continues its run through the Big-12 Conference in U.S. college football action on Saturday.

The undefeated Trojans visit Oregon State with USC hoping to avoid a repeat of its last trip to Beaver Stadium in 2000. That's when Oregon State beat USC 31-21.

Meanwhile, Oklahoma takes its undefeated record into College Station, Texas to take on Texas A & M. Freshman tailback Adrian Peterson, who has eight 100-yard games this season leads Oklahoma, but Sooners' coach Bob Stoops says Peterson is surrounded by experienced players and that has helped him.

"With all the experience with him back we felt that it would help him also," he said. "I think its fair to say that. Five starters in the offensive line back. So you put that together and then you have [quarterback] Jason White, a guy who can hurt you throwing, I think it complements him."

Number-four California's Bears hope that Oregon's winning streak against them will end. The Ducks have won the last seven meetings with Cal, but the Bears have shut out their last two opponents.

The fifth-ranked Wisconsin Badgers hope to keep their perfect record alive in the Big 10 Conference when they take on Minnesota.

Other games have number eight Georgia taking on Kentucky, number-11 Miami facing Clemson and ninth-ranked Tennessee playing Notre Dame.
