Thousands of Ammunition Stolen From British Troops in Kenya

Britain says some 3,000 rounds of ammunition and at least 10 grenades were stolen from British troops training in Kenya's northern Rift Valley.

British officials say the cache was taken last week from a military vehicle, which had been left unattended by troops based at Archer's Post.

Kenyan police set up roadblocks in the area and launched an investigation to recover the ammunition and grenades.

British troops regularly conduct training exercises in the Rift Valley region of the former British colony.
