Zimbabwe's opposition leader has accused President Robert Mugabe of letting the country to slide into decay, and he argues it is time for a change in leadership.
Campaigning Saturday ahead of next week's parliamentary elections, Morgan Tsvangirai said President Mugabe should stop accusing his opponents of working with former colonial power Britain, and should start talking about how to provide the poor with food and jobs.
Mr. Tsvangirai told thousands of supporters in his stronghold of Bulawayo that if Mr. Mugabe wants to challenge British Prime Minister Blair, he should go to England.
President Mugabe has accused Mr. Tsvangirai's party, the Movement for Democratic Change, of being supported by Britain - allegations both deny. The president has dubbed Thursday's parliamentary poll as the "anti-Blair elections."
