Kerr Leads LPGA Michelob Ultra, Sorenstam Makes Cut


American golfer Cristie Kerr has a two-stroke lead over countrywoman Michele Redman and AJ Eathorne of Canada after the rain-delayed second round of the Michelob Ultra tournament in Williamsburg, Virginia.

Kerr fired a 3-under-par 68 on the Kings Mill River course and is six-under-par 136 for three rounds. Redman and Eathorne both had a 2-under-par 69s in the second round and are tied at 4-under-par 138 for the tournament.

South Korea's Shi Hyun Ahn and Nicole Perrot of Chile are tied for fourth place at 3-under-par 139.

World number one golfer Annika Sorenstam of Sweden is 1-over-par 143 after a 4-under-par 67 in the second round. Sorenstam is trying to win a record sixth consecutive tournament. Because of Friday's rain delay, the second round was played Saturday and two rounds are scheduled for Sunday
