Harrington, Furyk Tied for Lead at Barclays Golf


Irish Ryder Cup player Padraig Harrington and American Jim Furyk are tied for the lead headed into the final round of the PGA Tour's Barclays Classic in Harrison, New York.

Harrington fired a 3-under-par 68 in the third round and is tied with Furyk at 9-under-par 204 for three rounds. Furyk had a 1-under-par 70 in his third round.

Americans Brian Gay and Brad Faxon are tied for third at 7-under-par 206. Gay shot an even-par 71 Saturday while Faxon had a 5-under-par 66 in the third round.

World number two golfer Vijay Singh is tied with American Kenny Perry and Australia's John Senden four strokes off the lead at 5-under-par 208.

The tournament is being played on the Westchester Country Club course, a par-71 layout that measures 62-hundred-53 meters. The winner takes home one million, 35-thousand dollars.
