Zimbabwe's President Robert Mugabe will travel to Cuba this week at the invitation of Cuban President Fidel Castro.
An official statement in Havana says Mr. Mugabe will arrive on Saturday with his wife, Grace Mugabe, and top officials.
It says during the three-day visit, the African leader will meet with Mr. Castro and other Cuban officials as well as visit places of "historical and scientific interest."
The French news agency reports this will be Mr. Mugabe's sixth visit to Cuba.
