NFL: Colts Remain Undefeated

The Indianapolis Colts remain the only undefeated National Football League team, rallying to win their ninth straight game with a 31-17 victory over the visiting Houston Texans.

An NFL milestone also was set in the contest Sunday. Indianapolis quarterback Peyton Manning and wide receiver Marvin Harrison became the only duo in NFL history to top 10-thousand career yards. They have teamed for a total of 755 pass completions, 10, 034 yards and 90 touchdowns - all NFL records.

Outcomes Sunday were more dramatic in New York and Tampa Bay.

Paul Edinger kicked a 48-yard field goal with 10 seconds remaining to give the Minnesota Vikings a 24-21 win over the host New York Giants. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers came from behind to edge the visiting Washington Redskins, 36-35.

The Green Bay Packers picked up just their second win of the season, defeating the Atlanta Falcons, 33-25.

The two-time defending Super Bowl champion New England Patriots are trying to steady their turbulent season with a 23-16 win in Miami against the Dolphins. New England improves its record to five wins and four losses.
