Police in Zimbabwe say they have found the bodies of 13 people they believe tried to sneak into South Africa by crossing the Limpopo River.
Eight of the bodies have been identified as Zimbabwean.
In January, state media reported at least 60 people drowned in the river when they tried to cross while water was at flood stage. It is not clear if the bodies found by police were part of that group.
Media reports say thousands of Zimbabweans are migrating to neighboring South Africa for jobs. Zimbabwe is gripped by an economic crisis, with unemployment above 70 percent and inflation topping 1,000 percent. Some information for this report was provided by AP.
