Miami One Win Away from Clinching NBA Championship Title

The Miami Heat are one victory away from their first National Basketball Association championship, after beating the Dallas Mavericks, 101-100, in overtime.

Miami star Dwayne Wade scored 43 points Sunday, including the game-winning free throws with two seconds remaining in overtime. Wade also hit a bank shot with three seconds left in regulation that tied the game.

The home team has won all five games played so far in the best-of-seven series. The first two games were played in Dallas with the next three in Miami. The teams move back to Dallas for game six on Tuesday, and game seven - if necessary - in Texas on Thursday.

Miami's big man, Shaquille O'Neal, had 18 points and 12 rebounds Sunday. Dallas was led by Jason Terry with 35 points.

The Mavericks were playing without star Jerry Stackhouse, who was was suspended for one game following a hard foul on O'Neal Thursday.
